Ok, so first, as always, I want to thank everyone for all the support,

s, and general love. I do not have time to individually thank you all for the favs, but I do appreciate each and every one.
Second, as you have probably been able to tell by my stock account, I am a nerd. And in true nerd fashion, I have an interest in cosplay. But I've never actually done it. So, my question for you, dear readers, is who would I be a good match to cosplay? Nothing too terribly immodest.

And third, I would like to feature some art done using my stock. You see, over time, there have been a good deal of works done that I loved, but did not, in my opinion, get enough love from the community. So here are just a few of many works done with my stock that I find under-appreciated.
So that's it for the first feature. I will likely do another one later.

Rules of use for Sitara-LeotaStock:
As a first note, do not post any of my pictures on facebook, myspace, twitter, or any other similar sites in their original (unedited) form.
1. You must inform me of when you have used my stock. I like seeing what everyone has made! You do not need to ask to use it beforehand, but you do need to tell me afterwards.
2. Please cite this site, or the particular picture you used, in the description of your picture.
3. No using models for anything sexually inappropriate or mature.
4. Don't turn any of us into something monstrous. We don't want to be portrayed as anything off-the-charts creepy, demonic, excessively gory, etc. Slightly to moderately creepy, dark, and edgy is fine. Please ask about your picture first if you're worried.
5. No works depicting us as post-hangings, shootings, etc corpses. If it is something poetic and pretty, in good taste: something Juliet-ish, perhaps, then it is fine. So if you want to do something very elegant, and/or Shakespearean, feel free, nothing overly gory.
6. Please do more with our pictures than just running a filter over it or something similar. Do more than re-colour the picture and add a little frame. We spend a lot of time and effort creating these stock images, and we do not like the feeling that an edit only took five minutes, when the original photo might have taken a couple hours to get.
7. Yes, I allow outside-of-DA use of my stock. However, I must be informed of it, and asked beforehand. All my rules still apply without outside-of-DA use.
8. Yes I allow prints, both on and off DA. Just ask me first.
And finally, I would like to ask that please, if it is not absolutely necessary to switch our model's faces/heads for another model in your photo manipulations, please do not do it. We're not forbidding this, as we realize that it can be necessary to an artistic vision, but if it is not needed for your piece and you can refrain from doing it, we would really appreciate it.
Any questions, feel free to ask.
Thank you very much,
Alexandra

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.
